Church of Scientology Office of Special Affairs and Frank Ol

12.03.2008, 10:33

Church of Scientology Office of Special Affairs and Frank Oliver

208 scanned pages relating to the Church of Scientology's former "Office of Special Affairs" employee and subsequent apostate Frank Oliver. The documents are dated between 1986 and 1992 (inclusive), when, according to the file, Frank Oliver was declared a "suppressive person" and ex-communicated. Fank Oliver should be able to verify the material and has appeared in the media before on subjects relating to the church. Starting on page 107, the document shows that at the time of writing the Church of Scientology was actively engaged in black propaganda (especially concerning psychiatry), "fair game" and infiltration.

Court again rebuffs Scientology's lawsuit

15.03.2008, 09:52

The Church of Scientology was told again Thursday it could not have a court order restraining Anonymous protesters this weekend, largely because the church's foe is as elusive as thin air.

But in its zeal to identify those who threatened the church, Scientology misfired, according to one woman who says she got fingered just because she works at Starbucks, near the church's headquarters.

Anonymous Message to Scientology 6

29.03.2008, 11:49

Hello: this is Anonymous. This message is meant to clarify, one more time, the reason for this unprecedented generation of collective outrage.

Your management claim to operate a tax-exempt religion. Their actions belie the fact that they are a massive for-profit corporation, and they profit at the great expense of you, the parishioners, the victims for which we feel this collective, unifying sense of outrage.

We ask: Why do so many students become employees of this Church? Because they can no longer afford to pay the Church for any more of the courses and texts required for advancement, but they are assured that it is nearly within their grasp. By this stage in their training, many have lost their homes due to mortgages obtained or refinanced solely to pay for more and more training from Scientology. We learned further that, after giving everything to this organization - their lives, all their net worth, and now their actual bodies, they work day and night in exchange for free training with what little free time given them. They force you to disconnect from trouble-causing family and friends, when the only trouble-causing was questioning exactly what you, their loved ones, have decimated your lives for. We find this abhorrent, and we will no longer allow these facts to remain hidden. If not us, then who? And if not now, then when? Anonymous has promised you - we will bring you the truth, and the truth will liberate you. And while we have already begun to deliver on our promise, we also promise you this: we have only just begun.

If you truly believe that your Tech is your religion, we believe in and affirm your right to your beliefs - we do not understand them, but they are yours to have and keep. We firmly believe that nobody should be so extensively and inhumanely victimized as you, the believers, have been, to study and practice your religion. We firmly believe that if your Religion believes it's way is the true path to total freedom, all should be able to study it freely, as they can every other religion. How can you put a price on enlightenment and the way to live a good life, regardless of what you believe these to be? Most religions have their own unique expenses, this is an obvious truth - but these expenses are incidental in nature, they are not required to learn and worship based on doctrine that is fundamentally open for all to know. Scientology's management has hidden your true beliefs behind strict copy-write and relentless litigation to prevent it from non-paying, public knowledge.

For these reasons, we will relentlessly pursue revocation of the organization's tax-exempt status - this will be an important milestone in our campaign. We will zealously expose and publicize the lies and hypocrisy of the current leadership of your Religion, and continue to shine the light of truth in their darkest corners.

Surely, the frustrations you may feel with your progress towards enlightenment and total freedom cannot possibly be caused by Anonymous, for who are we to you? Your true SP are those who change your Tech to make your journey across the Bridge ever-longer - DM and the RTC. I will close with words lent from a fellow Anonymous - "our efforts will ebb and flow, but our persistence will be as reliable as the tides". Of this, you can be certain.

Knowledge is free.

We are Anonymous.

We are Legion.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.

We will be heard.

Expect us.

Tom Cruise not happy about new strain of weed named after him

Actor/scientologist/couch jumper Tom Cruise is reportedly miffed that a new strain of medical marijuana has been nicknamed in his dubious honor. The weed, dubbed “Tom Cruise Purple” on the street, reportedly is so potent, it makes you see things that aren’t there. Although, since it’s named for Cruise, it should make you dance around your house in your underpants and socks to “Old Time Rock n’ Roll.” Cruise, who has been embarrassingly vocal about his objection to prescription drugs, isn’t flattered by the moniker and wants his legal team to put the kibosh on it, according to rumors.

Scientology threatens Wikileaks with injunction

08.04.2008, 12:20

The Church of Scientology has acknowledged that Wikileaks is offering the world quick and easy access to the church's top-secret "bibles".

Or should that be formerly top-secret?

On March 24, the swashbuckling truth-seekers at Wikileaks.org published what they referred to as "the collected secret 'bibles' of Scientology," and three days later, church-friendly lawyers threatened the site with legal action if the documents weren't taken down. Calling them "Advanced Technology of the Scientology religion," the lawyers pointed out that the documents are copyrighted works registered to the Religious Technology Center (RIC), a church-related holding company.

Ex-Scientology Kids Share Their Stories

08.05.2008, 10:56

From ages 6 to 12, Hill lived at a Scientology-owned property in California that was known as "the ranch," where she said children as young as 6 had long days. In addition to reading, writing and arithmetic classes and studying Scientology, she said there were physical chores.

"These projects ranged from rock hauling, taking rocks out of the creek, picking them up, hauling them up a hill, putting them in a pile -- these were usually to make rock walls," she said.

On YouTube’s Scientology Channel

On YouTube’s Scientology Channel

Last week I asked Google and YouTube press support (and another Google employee) whether their Scientology channel was paid. The channel was listed in the “Sponsors” section of the site, for one thing, and Scientology has been seen spending many advertising dollars with Google in AdSense campaigns. One reason why I asked was that the page included a link to Scientology.org without “nofollow” – which would make it a paid link, which would be against Google’s own webmaster guidelines.

Google kills Anonymous AdSense account

16.05.2008, 10:00

Google kills Anonymous AdSense account

Google has murdered the AdSense account run by one of the web's most influential anti-Scientology sites.

Yesterday, the search giant cut off all ads served to Enturbulation, a fledgling site dedicated to promoting activism against the Church of Scientology and all its related organizations. This could have something do with the nature of the ads Google was serving. Many of the Google-driven ads funding the anti-Scientology site were paid for by the Church of Scientology.
