Serie "Stranger Things"

Weil jetzt demnächst die dritte Staffel der Serie "Stranger Things" anläuft und in den Medien ein wenig darüber berichtet wurde, bin ich mit reichlich Verspätung auch darüber gestolpert.

Das ist ziemlich grober Stoff.
Sieht man mal darüber hinweg, dass doch recht surreal anmutende Horrorelemente am Realitätsbezug nagen und mehr an Effekthascherei grenzen, ... das Kernthema ist eigentlich MKUltra.
Und das wird dem Zuseher so richtig unverblümt regelrecht um die Ohren gehauen.

Beim Betrachten steht man zwangsläufig dauernd vor der Frage, wie viel davon vielleicht gar nicht so fiktional ist, wie es den Anschein erweckt - oder erwecken soll.
Auf jeden Fall eine echt interessante Gratwanderung, bei der man den beunruhigenden Eindruck nicht los wird, dass man gerade viel mehr Wahrheit aufs Auge gedrückt bekommt, als man eigentlich vermuten würde.

Prädikat: Sehenswert!

Das Montauk-Projekt(Nachfolger vom Philadelphia-Projekt) fließt da auch mit ein unter Anderem.

Ohja, wenn man gewissen Elementen nachgeht, entstehen da schon die Fragen, was da an Informationen den Autoren/Regisseuren zur Verfügung standen und was die Inspirationen waren...

[center]Jetzt verstehe ich es bin erst heute zu Staffel vier Folge 4 gekommen gestern dachte ich mir noch ich hab sie zwar gehört aber das war nur ein Soundschnipsel aber bei Folge 4 am Ende ist der Song ziemlich lang und die Bilder und Emotionen wenn man die Stranger Things ganz gesehen hat…...[/center]

Ross Duffer confirms the final season of ‘STRANGER THINGS’ begins filming in January.

When Matt and Ross Duffer, the affable identical twins behind the TV phenomenon Stranger Things, wrote the pilot script for that show, they did not expect it to ever become a West End play. But then that was one of quite a few things that they didn’t foresee almost a decade ago.

For starters, the Duffer Brothers, as they are known and credited, did not expect Stranger Things to exist beyond one season. They envisaged the story as being a “long-form movie” about a child who is mysteriously kidnapped in 1983 and his friends and family who try to get him back. “What would a Stephen King book look like if it were directed by Steven Spielberg,” was the pitch, says Matt now. The giant, spider-like Mind Flayer, Vecna, and even the parallel universe they call the Upside Down, so familiar now to fans after four seasons of the show on Netflix: none of these had yet been imagined.
